The Roddick Total Tennis Experience

The Roddick Total Tennis experience is probably one of the best-kept secret in the tennis world. Under the directorship of John Roddick and Myron Grunberg culminating in over 60 years of experience have adopted the philosophy that there is no cookbook of tennis coaching techniques which apply identically to each tennis player.

There are many academies that imitate techniques, flavor of the week drills and coaching philosophies which they may have heard or read about not realizing that someone else's program can never be ideal not to mention possibly harmful.

A tennis coach must have the ability to thread together scientific information and tennis technique while listening to ones intuition and the particular feelings of the tennis player in question and this comes only with years of experience... it is at this point that coaching ceases to be a science and becomes an art and coaching at a high level is definitely an art.
